Ninja shortage

In Noboribetsu city’s theme park “Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura”, there are insufficient actors doing ninja action. Demand is rising as more foreign visitors come to touch the unique culture of Japan, because few people are willing to act as ninja actors. The village is recruiting actors, for example by publishing videos that convey the charm of actors.

Four theatrical performances are held on the theater in the village a day. One performance 20 minutes. The scene of the sword fight is unfolded, jumping up and rolling with the sword in hand. Mr. Toshiyuki Jinbo (42), a 24-year ninja actor, said, “I am going with the number of people at the last minute, and I am physically strict and I must nurture a successor.”
